Heart Evangelista, in a recent post on Instagram Stories, handed over a ceremonial cheque to Kathryn Yu-Pimentel, an officer of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc.

The actress and style icon revealed she recently sold her hand-painted Hermes bag and turned over the proceeds of the sale to the foundation.

“Sold her personal hand painted Hermes bag and donated it for the senate spouses ph foundation inc. Thanks to Ms katdgpimentel and Ms nancy dela rosa for joining the turnover ceremony of donors for the foundation,” the caption on Heart’s post on IG Stories read.

Another the public relations officer of the foundation, Nancy Dela Rosa, was also present to witness the turnover.

She did not say how much she sold the customized luxury bag, though from the amount clearly written on the cheque, one can see the amount is around P1.6M.

It can be surmised that the said luxurious hand-painted Hermes bag is worth that much.

Heart Evangelista is a Filipina actress, singer, TV host, endorser, visual media artist, philanthropist, socialite, and the former first lady of Sorsogon province. She was born on February 14, 1985, to a Chinese-Filipino father, restaurant mogul Reynaldo Evangelista Ongpauco, and Bicolana Maria Cecilia del Gallego Payawal.
