Lolit Solis, in a recent post on her Instagram account, expressed her opinion on the recently-concluded State of the Nation address (SONA) of President Bongbong Marcos.
In her post, the veteran showbiz columnist said she was able to watch the entire SONA on TV.

The veteran showbiz columnist then expressed pride in the overwhelming support shown by politicians to PBBM.
She then asked fellow citizens to do their part for the country.
“We should be good followers. Tumulong tayo para maging maganda ang buhay natin,” the veteran columnist said.
“Life is how you make it, ikaw ang gumagawa ng buhay mo para maging maganda ito. I love the Philippines, dahil binigay nito lahat ng pangarap ko,” Manay Lolit concluded.
Ferdinand "Bongbong" Romualdez Marcos Jr., also more popularly known as BBM or PBBM, is the 17th President of the Republic of the Philippines. He also served as Governor of Ilocos Norte in 1983, holding that office until the ouster of his father, President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. In 1998, he was elected again as Governor of Ilocos Norte and served for three terms and later ran and won a seat in the Philippine Senate during the 2010 elections. He served as Philippine Senator until 2016. He ran for Vice-President during the 2016 elections but was unsuccessful and in 2022, he ran for president and won with a landslide victory.
During the President's SONA, PBBM, in what many perceive as a bold and popular move, has declared a total ban on all POGO operations. The president also ordered the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation or PAGCOR to wind down and cease the operations of POGOs by the end of the year. It can be recalled that PAGCOR started granting POGO licenses way back in 2016 after the government agency issued its Rules and Regulatons on August 26 of that year. PBBM then pointed out the main reason why he is issuing today the order on a total ban of PGO operations.
Meanwhile, the alleged video of PBBM supposedly snorting a powdered substance was proven to be fake. Forensics experts presented evidence showing that the video is a hoax. It can be recalled that the organization called Hakbang ng Maisug showed the video on the day of the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of PBBM. The video, which has since then gone viral, was earlier debunked by government officials, and later by forensics experts.
