Lolit Solis, a well-known columnist in showbiz, expressed in her latest online post that she pities Paolo Contis, an actor under GMA-7.

In her viral Instagram post, Lolit compared Paolo's life to that of an aquarium that is constantly being watched by many people.

"Salve, naawa naman ako kay Paolo Contis na para bang nasa aquarium na gusto laging pinapanuod ng tao. Iyon kahit pa nga dapat pribado na niyang buhay talagang gusto parin kalkalin ng mga walang magawa," she wrote.

According to Lolit, people should simply focus on the artists' performance and not on these individuals' private lives.

"Iyon performance nila, iyon na lang bigyan natin pansin. Isa si Paolo Contis sa pinakamabait, propesyonal, at mahusay na artista natin. Sana naman iyon na lang muna tignan natin. Kung anuman ang buhay niya sa labas ng kamera, pagbigyan na lang natin siya basta maligaya siya," she said.

By the end of her post, Lolit said Paolo has been "sad and lonely" for the longest time due to the countless journeys he's had in his life.

"For the longest time naging sad and lonely si Paolo Contis dahil sa ilang journey niya sa buhay na hindi niya na control. Ngayon meron siyang nadarama na konting happiness hayaan natin siya na enjoy whatever it is. Kawawa naman siya kung pati iyon aagawin pa natin sa kanya. Let him eat his cake now and for whatever it is, enjoy. Be happy Paolo Contis, para bongga. Hayaan mo sila mainggit sa ligaya mo," she wrote.
