Maris Racal took to X and reacted to an article of ABS-CBN where it stated that as per Anthony Jennings, his banter with Maris Racal in "Can't Buy Me Love" was not scripted.

The article was explaining that there are so many adlibs, and there would also be scripts.

“May adlib, may halong script. Sinusunod pa rin namin 'yung scripts, pero once na may maisip kami na pwedeng idagdag, sinasabi namin kay Direk," Jennings was explaining in the article.

Maris then affirmed this on X, saying that almost all of their lines were not really scripted.

She then praised Anthony as really good to do a scene with.

Many netizens loved the tandem of Maris and Anthony, which paved the way for more scenes for the two.

Meanwhile in another post, Maris admitted she cried when she read the script of the project that was pitched to her a couple of years ago. The singer-actress said that even if she already read it several times, it still brought tears to her eyes. She said that it is the kind of project that she would really be proud of because of the beauty of the message. Maris then thanked Direk Tonet Jadaone for choosing her to play the role in the said project, the filming of which has recently concluded.
