Actress Carla Abellana opened up to Karen Davila on the latter’s YouTube channel about her failed marriage with Tom Rodriguez.

During the interview, Carla admitted that she allegedly saw red flags on how Tom behaved. However, she decided to ignore those alleged red flags for the sake of love, forgiving, and giving chances.

She later realized that ignoring red flags is not healthy in a relationship.

“We’re expected to forgive and just give chances, and the relationship is worth fighting for. So I just brushed off the red flags. But it’s not healthy. It’s not healthy to see these red flags and just ignore [them]. I thought there would be change, but there’s no change.”

“It’s more of a realization [for me at the time]. The red flags, it’s more of forgetting and not minding them. It’s a form of disrespecting yourself because you may have boundaries, pero nagko-cross ‘yung boundaries. Of course, it was a choice to forgive the person and all that to stay in the relationship, pero I never listened to myself,” Carla explained.

Carla Abellana is an actress and endorser who works for GMA. She used to be married to fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez. Before entering showbiz, she graduated with honors from De La Salle University with a degree in psychology.

As previously reported by KAMI, Carla Abellana recently revealed a fun fact about her wedding gown in the series, "Stolen Life." According to Carla, the wedding gown she wore there was one of the "biggest and heaviest." The Kapuso actress stated that four people had to carry the gown as she moved around. Aside from this, Carla said she almost fainted a couple of times.

Meanwhile, Carla Abellana took to social media to express her dismay and frustration over charges she received on her credit card. The actress revealed that there was more than P600K that was charged on her card. She wondered how she would be able to pay for the amount allegedly charged to her BDO Mastercard.
