Alden Richards has finally addressed the burning question of whether he, at one time, fell for Maine Mendoza.

In an interview during the Monday edition of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” Alden was confronted with the question that has been on the minds of many people for a long time.

“Did you fall for Maine?” Tito Boy asked.

The actor, on hearing the question of Tito Boy, gave a sheepish smile and then proceeded to answer the question.

When he finally gave his answer, loud shrieks from what could have been the audience or staff present in the studio where the interview took place could be heard in the background.

“Yes, hypocrite po ako kung hindi,” the Kapuso star answered.

He then gave another statement that brought another reaction from other people present in the studio.

“Ayoko pong sabihing alam niya but I did confess,” Alden said, indicating that he might have told Maine in the past about his feelings for her.

Tito Boy, however, did not pursue the subject anymore out of respect for Maine who just got married.

Richard Reyes Faulkerson, Jr., more popularly by his screen name, Alden Richards, is a Pinoy actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He is also known as “Asia’s Multimedia Star” after receiving the Asian Star Prize awards during the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards of 2019 for acting. He rose to fame as the partner of Maine Mendoza in their tandem, AlDub, on “Eat Bulaga.”

In a GMA Exclusive interview last August, Alden was asked if there is one thing that he would like to change in the way his career had ran. He revealed that there is nothing that he would like to change in his career. He said that a huge part of where one is right now is one's past. The actor was also asked to give advice to his 18-year-old-self, and that included not to become lazy.

In another previous interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Alden admitted that he used to imagine the life of his rich classmates. He said that he would imagine having delicious breakfasts before going to class, and brought to and from school in private vehicles. The actor also talked about the pocket money that his classmates would have daily and sometimes compare them to his own. Alden did say, however, that he accepted there are some things that were just not possible for him because of their impoverished condition.
