Actor Benj Manalo took to social media to upload photos of his emotional moments at a hospital as his wife, Lovely Abella, gave birth to their child.

Lovely’s husband describes their baby’s birth last September 15 as a life-changing experience for him. One photo shows Benj comforting Lovely during her labor. Another pic features Lovely carrying the baby in her arms. Benj is seen in one photo crying while holding his child.

The photos were accompanied by a heartfelt caption, with Benj commending his wife for showing strength, courage and resilience throughout her pregnancy, as well as during her childbirth and postpartum.

“Sept 15, 2023 8:08pm my life has changed and Im so happy. Thank you Lord God!

“Nung nag simula relation namin ng asawa ko back 2015 nag bago na buhay ko, pero di ko inakala na mag babago at mas magiging masaya pa lalo ngayon. Kala ko dati okay na kami sa 2 naming anak, pero ngayon naging 3 na sila, grabe. hindi ko ma explain ang saya sa puso ko at lagi lang ako nag papasalamat kay Lord na binago niya ang buhay ko. Parang lahat nalang ngayon iniiyakan ko sa saya.

“Nakita ko ang buong process from month 1 hangang manganak ang asawa ko, sabi ko gusto ko lagi akong nandun. I wanna be present as a father and as a husband. Nung mga oras na manganganak na asawa ko, mas nagiba ang respeto ko sa asawa ko at sa mga nanay. Naisip ko, wala akong karapatan mag reklamo na pagod ako kasi sila nga grabe ang pinag dadaanan pero laban. Mas naging idol ko ang asawa ko at mas lalo ko siya pinahalagahan. Sabi ko nga kay Lord, thank you at binuksan mo ang bagong lente ko sa buhay on how i see life nanaman in a different perspective, sabi ko bigyan niya ako ng lakas at wisdom thru His word sa bible para maging mabuting tatay at asawa ako. Previously, Lovely posed for a maternity photoshoot with Urban Dream Studios. The blooming pregnant celebrity took to social media and shared several stunning photos from the shoot.
