She said when she was with Ogie, she wanted to tell him many things, gratitude, or misgivings if she has any, but was just unable to do so.

“For instance kay Ogie, marami akong gustong sabihin kay Ogie, na hindi ko magawa kasi he's a very busy person,” Marissa said during the interview.
“Marami akong gustong sabihin sa kanya, marami akong gustong iparamdam sa kanya, gratitude, tampo, kung nagtampo man ako sa kanya kasi, Tito Nestor and him were my managers before, they were both part of my career,” she added.

She then said that if there’s one thing she would “tampo” about Ogie, it would be during the time that he markets her as a talent.

“Kung may itatampo ako kay Ogie kasi everytime na binebenta niya ako, no i'm just being true, tuwing ibebenta niya ako, kunwari ABS-CBN, Santino ganyan, ‘oh ito si Marissa Sanchez alaga ko to... Yan baka meron siyang role na bagay dito,’” she said by way of an example.

However, according to Marissa, what happens is that the staff would instead be interested in getting Ogie and not her.

“’Oy Ogie buti nakita ka namin, kelangan ka namin dito sa particular role na 'to’, so parang imbes ako ang kunin, siya ang kinukuha,” the actress-comedienne said.
“So sabi ko, ba't di na lang tayo magpalit? Ako na lang manager mo. So hanggang sa sabi ko, I think aalis na lang ako sa 'yo,” Marissa said.

She did emphasize, however, that she wanted to maintain her friendship with Ogie and that’s why they parted as friends.

Ogie Diaz is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also behind the YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He became a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano.
