According to her, her mother bravely battled cancer nearly three years ago.

She added that her 64th birthday is also approaching.

As an appreciation for her mother, Rita surprised her with grocery shopping, which evidently made her really happy.

"Treating my mom who survived breastcancer almost three years ago, who’s also turning 64 in a week.. on a grocery shopping," she wrote.

Rita Daniela, born Rita Daniela De Guzman Iringan, is a Filipina singer, actress, and television host. She started her career after being the first grand champion of QTV’s 'PopStar Kids' and became more popular after portraying Aubrey Palomares in My Special Tatay. Last June, Rita announced that she is expecting a baby through an Instagram post. She gave birth to the baby last December 22.

In a previous report by KAMI, Rita Daniela took to Instagram and shared a cute photo of her son, Baby Uno. She celebrated the fifth month of her little baby. The mom expressed her emotions as a mother to Baby Uno and said she was so proud of her son. Rita said it may not be the ideal first Mother's Day since both of them were sick, but they made it through.
