Joey De Leon took to Instagram and expressed his thoughts about a "renewal."

He did not name any party, but his post came after the news came out that TAPE was able to renew the registration of "Eat Bulaga" and "EB" for another 10 years, the expiry of which will be on June 14, 2033.

According to Joey, the "renewal" may be theirs but the "numeral" belongs to them.

He then expressed his gratitude for promoting them for the next ten years.

"Sa kanila ang RENEWAL, sa amin ang NUMERAL! Thanks for promoting us for the next TEN years!"

Joey also joked that he is still with EB but it is the "Ellen and Barbie."

Joey is also best known for being a pioneer host of the longest-running noontime show in the country, “Eat Bulaga.” It premiered on July 30, 1979.

Recently, Joey also posted on Instagram about his noontime show on TV5, “E.A.T.” The famous host promoted some of the segments of the program including ‘Sino ang henyo’ and ‘Sugod Bahay mga Kapatid’. According to Joey, his show, although no longer called ‘Eat Bulaga,’ is still the longest-running noontime show. He added that “E.A.T.” is not the “tolongges noontime show."

His grandson, Jakob, also recently warmed the hearts of netizens. This was after Joey posted a video showing the adorable little boy. In the cute video, Jakob was singing the theme song of “E.A.T.” Netizens then took to the comments section and gushed over the reel.
