Wilbert Tolentino became a trending topic last week after announcing his resignation as Herlene Budol’s manager.

In the comments section of Herlene’s Facebook post about the news, Wilbert sent a message to his former talent. According to Wilbert, he is proud of his achievements with Herlene during their time together.

Furthermore, Wilbert promised to be Herlene’s “Mima” even if he is no longer her manager. He also promised to help Herlene in understanding new contracts and if she needs an advice on anything. Wilbert encouraged Herlene to visit his home if she ever needs his help, promising to be her protector forever.

“Achievement mo, Achievement ko rin Mima Herlene Hipon Budol. Sa dalawang sabak natin sa National Pageant ay wagi. Binibining Pilipinas 2022 1st runner up, Sa Miss Grand Philippines naman nakuha mo yung 3rd Crown Miss Tourism Philippines 2023. Not bad at all.

“At take note 11.3 ratings mo sa Magandang Dilag at marami pa upcoming project naka line up sayo. May 3 years at may 2 years contract na close ko.

“Basta always stay humble & kind. inalis ko lang titolo ko bilang Manager mo, pero mananatili akong Mima mo. basta kung meron kung may kontrata na indi mo naiintindihan or need mo mga advices punta ka lang sa balur ko. i will always be ur protector & guardian angel,” Wilbert said.

According to Herlene’s new vlog, her former manager, Wilbert Tolentino, left her because there were things that he needed to prioritize.

Herlene Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host.

In other news, Herlene’s answer during the Q&A portion of Miss Grand Philippines 2023 pageant went viral. One of the judges asked Herlene what she thinks is the most urgent problem among Filipino youth and how she would address it. After answering the question, she made the crowd cheer for her when she said, “I-English-in niya po,” referring to her interpreter.

Previously, Herlene shared her meaningful advocacy in the Top 15 speech portion of Miss Grand Philippines 2023. She said that as an influencer, she would promote cyber safety. As she delivered her speech, she could not help expressing “woooh” while finding the next words to say. Meanwhile, videos of her speech made the rounds on social media.
