Herlene Budol has just bagged five special awards from the recently concluded Miss Grand Philippines pageant.

The Kapuso actress also won the Miss PH Tourism award.

Herlene got the Best in Runway, Miss Arena Plus, Miss Ever Bilena, Miss Mermaid Manila Hair, and Miss Bluewater Day Spa, which she considers as a blessing.

The Kapuso star also revealed that she got afraid when the first cut was being called.

She described the experience as nerve-wracking because she really thought that she would not be chosen.

Along with this was her apprehension that she would receive tons of bashing if she will not make it to the Top 15.

Herlene Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. She was the first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant. She is now a Kapuso star.

Recently, she also made an appreciation post for her manager, friend, and mentor, Wilbert Tolentino, praising him for his hard work. The beauty queen got extremely stressed due to issues regarding her national costume for the upcoming Miss Grand Philippines 2023. Wilbert came to the rescue and found a new epic costume for her. According to Herlene, Wilbert is a supportive and resourceful manager.

The Kapuso actress also took to IG Stories and had her Q&A for her followers. She was very happy when there was finally someone who actually asked her a question. The question posed to her was, "Kumusta ka Ms. Herlene." She then added a funny caption, "May nagtanong din sa wakas! Thank you."
