Melai Cantiveros, in a post on her Instagram Stories, shared a funny video of her trying to fit in the country of South Korea.

In the video, the TV host and comedienne attempted to be friendly towards the country’s citizens by greeting two young Koreans standing by the roadside.

“Annyeonghaseyo?” Melai greeted the Koreans, who appeared to be waiting for a bus to pass by.

The two returned the greeting and then the TV host again attempted to speak another Korean phrase, but this time, she apparently didn’t know what follows next, causing her to stutter mid-speech.

“Yo… yo…” was all Melai could say and so just proceeded to sing.

“You are the one that makes me happy…” the TV host and comedienne sang.

This prompted the two Koreans to give her a big, friendly smile, apparently pleased by her singing.

Melai Cantiveros is a prominent showbiz personality in the Philippines. She became famous in 2009 after winning "Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up." She also won the first season of the Filipino version of "Your Face Sounds Familiar" in 2015.

She also recently took to Instagram to share a video update of their stay in Korea. It was Day 2 of her shoot for "Ma'am Chief" and she joked about her appearance. The comedienne said that while it was Day 2, she looked like it was already Day 32. Melai also previously posted and joked about the crew wondering why she was their artist.

Previously, she also shared photos on social media of her shoot in Korea. Melai did not mention what the shoot was all about but in fact made a funny caption. The comedienne said that the staff and crew may be wondering why she was the actress. Melai then said that she just "kamsamnida" so that they will believe her.
