Aiko Melendez and Onemig Bondoc have finally addressed the long-standing questions surrounding the status of their previous marriages.

The celebrity couple directly confirmed that they are both legally annulled during their appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Wednesday, September 23.

Host Boy Abunda raised the issue during the interview and asked the couple about the status of their previous marriages.

“Both of you are annulled?” asked the King of Talk.

Aiko and Onemig immediately answered together, “Yes.”

Aiko said she was glad that Boy brought up the topic because it gave them an opportunity to clarify the matter publicly.

“Tito-Ninong, I'm glad you asked that question. May we just clarify that we are both annulled,” said the actress.

According to Aiko, there has continued to be misinformation circulating online about their previous marriages. She noted that some people still believe that she and Onemig have yet to have their marriages legally annulled.

Onemig, for his part, shared that his annulment from his former wife, Valerie Bariou, was approved as early as 2021.

Aiko also has a history of previous marriages that have already been legally annulled. Her marriage to actor Jomari Yllana was annulled in 2005, while her marriage to Martin Jickain was annulled in 2010.

The clarification came as Aiko and Onemig continue to openly share details about their relationship, which they only publicly confirmed in February 2026.
