Pokwang releases official statement of her lawyer amid Lee O'Brian's counter affidavit

Pokwang, in her latest Instagram story, released the official statement of her legal counsel amid Lee O'Brian's counter affidavit.

KAMI learned that Pokwang reposted MJ Marfori's post containing her legal counsel's statement regarding the counter affidavit filed by Lee.

In the statement, Pokwang's team mentioned they are still maintaining their stand to have Lee deported from the Philippines.

They also mentioned that the Philippines must be a "safe place for everyone," especially for Filipinos.

"We maintain that Mr. William Lee O'Brian must be deported immediately from the Philippines. Undesirable aliens have no place in this country. With this case we are pursuing, we are putting a stop to the gross manipulations of Philippine Immigration laws and the acts of abuse against our client, Ms. Marietta Subong. The Philippines must be a safe place for everyone, especially us Filipinos," the statement read.

Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. She has two daughters, Mae and Malia. Her split with Lee O'Brian has caused a buzz on social media.

As previously reported by KAMI, Pokwang recently advised her fans and followers to unsubscribe from PokLee Cooking on YouTube. According to the Kapuso star, someone allegedly failed to give the account back to them. On Instagram, Pokwang posted a photo of PokLee's channel and told her fans to unfollow it since it is no longer associated with them.

Meanwhile, Pokwang gave a tour of her summer house in Mariveles, Bataan. Her home has two floors, a modern and elegant design, and a relaxing swimming pool. The Kapuso star plans to add more decorations and features to the house's outdoors to make it look even more gorgeous.
