Barangay Ginebra point guard LA Tenorio, who has been diagnosed with colon cancer, just posted about his healing journey.
On his Instagram account, LA shared photos of him at the hospital with Zanjoe Marudo and his other friend.
“6/12- halfway there.. PRAY,HOPE AND DON’T WORRY,” the athlete penned in the caption.
The PBA star also expressed gratitude to his friends for accompanying him on his “road to recovery” despite their busy schedules.

LA Tenorio created a huge buzz last March 21 after releasing a statement on his health status. The Barangay Ginebra point guard revealed that he has been diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. In his statement, Tenorio apologized to his teammates, some coaches, the PBA, fans, media and friends as he used his minor injury as the reason for his "sudden absence."
Last May, LA shared an optimistic post on social media. The athlete posted a photo showing him walking along a corridor. Based on the location tagged by the PBA star, the pic was taken at Orchard Road in Singapore. In the caption, it could be noticed that LA included a hashtag that reads "#RoadtoRecovery." Celebrities like Iya Villania, Marc Pingris, and Rayver Cruz then penned their uplifting messages for LA.
