Television host Boy Abunda has extended his warm congratulations to newly married couple Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co while sharing new details about their relationship during the opening of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Wednesday, July 15.

The King of Talk said he personally spoke with Vincent over the phone after reports surfaced that the businessman and the actress had officially exchanged vows. Their intimate civil wedding took place on Monday evening, July 13, at the Makati City Hall, with Mayor Nancy Binay officiating the ceremony.
Recalling their conversation, Boy shared how he directly asked Vincent if the wedding reports were true.
"Nasa telepono kami ni Vincent, I spoke to him, nagkausap kami ni Vincent Co. And very matter-of-fact, tinanong ko siya, 'Vincent, ikaw ba'y ikinasal na kayo ni Bea?' Sabi niya, very very matter of fact, 'Opo, Tito. Ikinasal na' sila."

The veteran host said he immediately expressed his happiness for the newlyweds and offered his heartfelt wishes for their future together.
"And I was very happy for him. Sabi ko, 'Vince, I'm so happy for you. I wish you both the best, at sana'y i-bless kayo ni God. And God bless you."
Boy also became curious about the couple's plans after the wedding and asked Vincent whether they intended to travel for a honeymoon. According to the businessman, work commitments would have to come first.
"Hindi, Tito. Ang daming trabaho."
Abunda noted that Bea had already returned to work and was reportedly attending a taping on Wednesday for her upcoming GMA drama series, Whispers From Heaven.

Aside from congratulating the couple, Boy also shared what he had learned from his own sources regarding the history of Bea and Vincent's relationship. According to him, the two had known each other for a long time, and Vincent had reportedly pursued Bea years ago. However, things did not develop into a romantic relationship at that time before life eventually reunited them.
"In fact, nanligaw na raw. This one, I have no personal knowledge. Nanligaw na raw noon pa si Vincent kay Bea, pero hindi lamang ito tumawid sa relasyon. Until faith brought them together again. And now, they are finally married."
Reflecting on the couple's journey, Boy added:
"Kumbaga, sa hinaba-haba man po ng prusisyon, sa simbahan din ang tuloy. Or in this case, sa opisina po ni Mayor Nancy Binay."
He ended his message with another heartfelt greeting.
"Congratulations, Bea and Vincent. Ako'y napakasaya. I'm very happy for both of you. Ang again, God bless you."
