Paolo Contis, in an ambush interview with Ogie Diaz answered questions regarding the engagement of LJ Reyes.

He said he was happy for his ex-partner, and even used "very very happy to describe his reaction.

Pao noted though that any succeeding steps he would be making concerning his personal life would only be done privately.

Thereafter, Ogie then asked him when they would be able to hear that he was already engaged.

"Kailan naman natin mababalitaan na si Pao ay engaged na rin?" Ogie asked.

"Tumutuloy-tuloy ka ha... Nananahimik ako," Paolo answered the manager.

In the same interview, Pao also sent a message to his bashers saying they should keep quiet and not be nosy.

Paolo revealed in an interview with Nelson Canlas in "Updated With Nelson Canlas" that he is waiting for the go signal of LJ Reyes to visit Summer. He said that he misses his daughter every day. The actor also noted that people might say otherwise but that is how he feels. Paolo is looking forward also to the day that he will be able to regularly talk to his daughter.

The actor was asked by Nelson why he fell in-love with actress Yen Santos. According to Paolo, when his friends left him, Yen Santos was the one who stayed. In a previous interview with Boy Abunda, the actor clarified that it was not Yen who was the reason why he and LJ Reyes separated.
