Michael nodded and answered the journalist’s question in the affirmative, causing Julius to be shocked and wonder why the son of successful people would think of doing something like that.

“Why? It's very shocking ha, na anak ka ng successful na mga tao, yet naisip mo na ano, ano ba ang nangyayari noon? Bakit naisip mo yung ganun?” the journalist pressed.
“Kasi I felt alone. My parents didn't know na yun yung plano ko...” Michael answered, then started to detail what happened at the time.
“There was that one time sa room ko, naisip ko, it wasn’t a rope, there was like a wire that I, sinetup ko, tapos after that, naisip ko, wag na,” Michael explained.

“I stopped coz naisip ko what would my parents think, what would they think about me doing this,” he concluded.

Michael is the second of the five children of boxing legend and former Senator Manny Pacquiao. He was born on December 13, 2001 in the Philippines. While he tried out boxing, Michael appeared to have more inclination towards making music.

Seven months ago, Michael celebrated his first amateur boxing fight win over Nathaniel Ruiz in their three-round match at the BF Homes Phase I Gymnasium in Parañaque. Although he got a bloody nose in the first round, he was able to land the cleaner blows throughout the match, earning a victory decision. Aside from being the son of Manny, the 20-year-old Michael is best known for his rap songs such as “Hate and “Put Your Body on Me.”

His mother, on the other hand, posted nearly a year ago a heartfelt video and photos of her husband, Manny and Michael. In the post, Manny can be seen being affectionate to his child, which warmed Jinkee's heart. Michael seemed to be delighted to be with his father, who can be seen wiping his mouth in the short clip. Furthermore, as of this writing, the said post has received over 15,000 likes on Instagram.
