Morissette, whose birth name is Johanne Morissette Daug Amon, was born on 2nd June 1996 in Cebu, where she was raised. The young diva later moved to Manila with her brother Jeremy Mattheu Amon and mother Analie Daug to achieve her dream. With the great opportunities in Manila, she started realizing her singing dreams by auditioning for various TV shows.
Amon finally got her big break from TV5’s Star Factor singing competition at the age of 14. She became the breadwinner of her family at the age of 16 by paying rent, bills and her brother’s school fees.
