Nikki Valdez, utang sa anak ang angking lakas ng loob: “You taught me to be selfless and take on many things”

Nikki Valdez, in one of her more recent posts on Instagram, said that she owes her inner strength to her daughter, Olivia.

In her post, Nikki admitted feeling torn between wanting to keep her daughter forever and letting her go a little.

“I am always torn between wanting to just keep you with me forever and letting go a little,” Nikki said in her post.

“I guess I will have to deal with my mixed emotions until you can spread your wings on your own— or maybe not ” the actress added.

Nikki then thanked Olivia for making her a mother and for allowing Nikki to discover her strength, and at the same time, work on her weaknesses.

“Thank you, my Olivia, for making me a Mama. For allowing me to discover my strength and work on my weaknesses, for letting me take care of you the best way I can, for making me love you,” Nikki wrote.

Near the end of her post, Nikki admitted that it was Olivia who taught her to be selfless and to face challenges head on, adding that she would always be grateful to her daughter.

“You taught me to be selfless and take on so many things I thought I could not do. I will always be grateful for you,” Nikki said.

Nikki Valdez is a Pinay actress and singer. In the music scene she was known for a ballad called "Meron Ba?", for the soundtrack of G-Mik the Movie and Trip the Movie, and starred in the lead role for F.L.A.M.E.S TV series. Valdez married ABS-CBN sales executive Luis Garcia on August 18, 2018.

In March of this year, Nikki also took to Instagram and made a lengthy gratitude post to mark her 25 years in showbiz. The actress said that there is nothing more she can say but "thank you." She thanked all the projects that she was able to do, and for being able to work with the best in the industry. Nikki even thanked all the rejections and failures because such things have taught her to be humble.

Last year, she also took to social media to express her gratitude towards Star Magic. She is one of the recipients of the Loyalty Award given by Star Magic to celebs who have been with them for at least 25 years. For Nikki, it was an honor and the award was proof of all the 25 years of her happiness, tears, and struggles. She also thanked her Star Magic family and the company that has provided for her and her family for the past 25 years.
