Cristy Fermin kay Paul Soriano bilang ‘presidential adviser on creative communications’: “karapat-dapat naman”

Cristy Fermin, along with Romel Chika, aired her two cents on the news about Toni Gonzaga's husband, Paul Soriano.

The director is currently making headlines after Pres. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. appointed him as the presidential adviser of creative communications.

During Cristy Ferminute's episode on Monday, the veteran showbiz columnist expressed anticipation that Toni and Paul would receive bashings because of the news.

“Naku, asahan na po natin na bukas pa lang o baka mamaya e pamahayan na ng mga bashers ang mga accounts nina Toni Gonzaga at Direk Paul Soriano,” Cristy said.

The entertainment reporter also reacted, “Karapat-dapat namang mai-appoint bilang presidential adviser on creative communications si Direk Paul Soriano. May karapatan naman po siya, diba naman?”

"Korek. Kanino ka pa ba magtitiwala? Siyempre 'yung kasa-kasama mo noong nagsisimula ka, siyempre doon mo ipagkakatiwala ang lahat," Romel aired.

“At alam mong may kapasidad na hawakan 'yung posisyon,” Cristy added.

Toni, or Celestine Cruz Gonzaga-Soriano in real life, is a famous actress, television host, and YouTube star in the Philippines. She married director Paul on June 12, 2015, in Taytay, Rizal. Toni then gave birth to their first child, Severiano Elliott or Seve, on September 30, 2016.

Earlier, Cristy said there are people suggesting Toni for the Press Secretary post. This was after director Paul declined the said position when it was offered to him. During “Cristy Ferminute," Cristy believes that the actress and TV host is qualified. The showbiz columnist, however, thinks that Toni would not be interested since it is not her line of work.

Meanwhile, Toni and Paul's son, Seve, has just turned six recently. The celebrity kid celebrated his special day in a fun “Huggy Wuggy”-themed birthday party. The couple’s family and friends were among those who joined the celebration. Alex Gonzaga and other attendees then took to social media to share glimpses of the event.
