Mayor Vico Sotto shared on IG Stories that he just underwent PRP procedure on both knees, otherwise known as platelet-rich plasma.

"Ito na yung platelet-rich plasma mismo (separated from the extracted blood using a centrifuge)," he captioned.

He shared that it was done on both knees now as compared to his first procedure that was done on just one knee.

"Procedure done on both knees," said the mayor.

"Sorry di muna ako makaka-ikot sa mga activities bukas, kailangan umiwas sa paglalakad ng 2 araw."

Mayor Vico also shared how blood was extracted from him, and even showed the vials that were used during extraction.

As per Hopkins Medicine, "platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections are gaining popularity for a variety of conditions, from sports injuries to hair loss. The treatment uses a patient’s own blood cells to accelerate healing in a specific area."

Vico Sotto is the current mayor of Pasig City. He has become famous for being a hard-working, innovative, and honest politician. The young politician is the son of former couple Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes.

Vico Sotto has amused tons of netizens on social media with his latest online post. On his Instagram account, the Mayor of Pasig City conducted a hilarious online poll about his reaction. In his Instagram story, Vico posted a photo of himself where he could be seen frowning. He then asked his followers what his reaction was showing and ended up saying "ganyan kayo eh" after seeing the results.
