Mikee Quintos revealed that she was named after Mikee Jaworski, sharing how she discovered the connection while living with the latter’s son, Robbie Jaworski, inside the Pinoy Big Brother house.

In a conversation with her fellow housemates, the actress recalled the story behind her name and how it came up during her first night with Robbie.

“You know, I was named after Robbie’s mom,” she shared. “My mom named me after Robbie’s mom.”

Her revelation prompted another housemate to ask whether she had already known Robbie before entering the house. Mikee answered no and explained that he had brought up the similarity between her name and his mother’s name.

According to the actress, Robbie casually told her that his mom’s name was spelled exactly like hers. Curious about the observation, she asked who his mother was.

“I said, ‘Your mom is who?’” she recalled.

After Robbie identified his mother, Mikee realized that she was the same person who had inspired her own mom’s choice of name.

The discussion then turned to Robbie’s mother and her career. Mikee explained to the other housemates that his mom was famous and had done acting work before. She also mentioned her involvement in equestrian sports, which another housemate clarified as horse riding.

Looking back at her own birth year, the actress said her mother had come across Robbie’s mom’s name around 1997.

Mikee described that time as a peak in his mother’s career. She recalled that her own mom had seen the name on television or in a newspaper, although she did not specify the exact source.

“And then my mom liked the name. So she used the name,” she explained.

Years after that choice, the actress found herself sharing the PBB house with the son of the woman she was named after. The conversation led the housemates to remark on the coincidence.

Mikee also recalled another observation she shared with Robbie after learning who his mother was. By the following day, she said she could see the resemblance between them.

“I was telling Robbie na after you, after he said it, I see it. Like, he kinda looks like his mom,” she shared.

Others in the conversation agreed that the two looked alike. One even described Robbie as a male version of his mother.

Mikee Quintos is a Filipino actress and singer who has established herself in both television and music. She rose to greater prominence after portraying Lira in the 2016 television series Encantadia. Her interest in performing began when she was young, and she started singing publicly at only seven years old while participating in her parents’ political campaigns. While pursuing her entertainment career, she also remained committed to architecture, eventually completing a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Santo Tomas in 2025 after a 10-year academic journey.
