Andi Eigenmann took to Instagram and posted a series of photos as her tribute to her aunt, veteran actress Cherie Gil.
She posted several photos of them together, and even reposted photos that were posted by her cousins.
In one photo, Andi stated that it was her aunt who inspired her to remain true to her authentic self.
"The one who inspires me to always stay true to my authentic self," said Andi.

In another post, she said that her aunt was there in most, if not all of her life's milestones, and her favorite was being with her aunt on the magical island.
"You were there in most, if not all of my life's milestones, but my favorite was being with you here during my first time on this magical island. Wouldn't have had it any other way."
Cherie Gil is a multi-awarded film and TV actress. She was best known for her role as Lavinia Arguelles in "Bituing Walang Ningning." She was very close to some of the movie icons in the industry, which include Sharon Cuneta and Dina Bonnevie. Her brother is another award-winning actor, Michael De Mesa. Many of the Eigenmanns in showbiz are her relatives.
Veteran actress Cherie Gil has passed away at the age of 59. This was confirmed by another famous actress, who is Annabelle Rama. Annabelle posted on her Instagram and Facebook accounts to announce the unfortunate news. Many netizens expressed their sadness about the icon's sudden passing.
