Cristy Fermin once again had a frank commentary on the rift between Dennis Padilla and his kids with Marjorie Barretto – Julia, Claudia and Leon Barretto.

In the latest episode of Showbiz Now Na, the entertainment columnist supposed that Dennis is not providing financial support to the three.
“Hindi nga kailangan magsalita ng ina e. Ako kukunin ko na 'yung pagkakataong ito, ilalatag ko 'yung sarili ko bilang ang mga anak ko ay ako lang ang kasama. Ako 'yung nanay, ako 'yung tatay. Alam ng mga anak ang nagaganap sa bahay araw-araw. Alam ng mga anak kung nagbibigay ng sustento o hindi ang kanilang tatay. Alam ng mga bata kung kahit singkong duling may nakakarating sa nanay nila kapag nangangailangan ng panggastos ang mga anak.”
“Alam ko na alam ni Julia, ni Claudia saka ni Leon na walang sustentong ibinibigay si Dennis. At 'wag kwestiyonin ang sustento. Anak niya kay Marjorie 'yung tatlo, nagkahiwalay man, dapat may pananagutan pa rin siya, may reponsibilidad pa rin bilang ama.”
Nanay Cristy's co-host, Morly Alinio, likewise aired his opinion on the subject.
"At kahit sabihin pang tanggihan ni Marjorie 'yung ibibigay niya, dapat i-insist niya, Kasuhan niya si Marjoie, 'Bakit hindi niya tinatanggap ang ibinibigay para sa aking anak e karapatan kong bigyan ang aking anak,'" Morly said.
"Ang kwenstiyon dito, Ate Cristy, nakalimutan nga ba? Tinalikuran nga ba? Hindi nga ba naisip ni Dennis na suportahan ang kanyang mga anak... hindi ba siya sumubok na, 'Kailangan, maibigay ko ito'?" Morly also added.
To which Cristy replied, “Walang lumitaw na ganu'ng isyu e. So ibig sabihin, talagang hindi nagbibigay si Dennis ng sustento sa kanyang mga anak.”
Dennis Esteban Dominguez Baldivia, better known by his screen name Dennis Padilla, is a Filipino comedian, TV host, radio broadcaster and actor. He was born on February 9, 1962 to the late actor-comedian Prudencio Baldivia and Catalina Baldivia. He is the father of popular actress Julia Barretto. Dennis already has a different family.
Leon Barretto has recently addressed Dennis Padilla’s now-deleted posts about not receiving Father’s Day greetings from him, Claudia and Julia Barretto. The 19-year-old son of Dennis and Marjorie Barretto broke his silence about the said issue through an open letter.
Dennis Padilla then said sorry to his son in an Instagram post. In his post, the celebrity dad explained that he just misses Leon and his sisters, Julia and Claudia Barretto. The celebrity father later on revised it and reacted to Leon’s “false narratives” accusation. However, it could be noticed that the said post is no longer in Dennis' IG feed.
