Recently, the 52-year-old actor made headlines after he shared on social media that he was rushed to the hospital during his family vacation in Spain.
Manay Lolit then took to her Instagram account to react to the news.
“Balitang inatake ng high blood si Robin Padilla sa Spain, Salve. Medyo dapat siguro maghinay hinay na si Robin at listen to his body.”

As per the veteran showbiz columnist, Robin should take good care of his health especially now that he needs to perform his duties as an incoming senator.
“Dapat regular na ang check up niya para laging nababantayan ang kanyang kalusugan. Mahirap na bigla na lang ay may mangyari sa kanya. Lalo na ngayon na meron na siyang Senate duties. Dapat ay physically at mentally alert siya. Buti na lang at mild lang ang nangyaring atake sa kanya, kaya dapat ng lagi ay bantayan niya na ngayon ang katawan niya.”
Furthermore, Lolit told Robin, “Senator Robin Padilla, take care of your health, ingat.”
Robin Padilla is a famous action star and endorser in the Philippines. He is married to actress-host Mariel Padilla. The actor has two children with Mariel – Isabella and Gabriela. He is also the father of actress Kylie Padilla, the wife of Aljur Abrenica.

He garnered 26+ million votes, the number of which put him at the top spot of the top senatorial candidates. One of the things that action star Robin emphasized during his speech was to reform the Constitution.

According to Robin, he does not have any illnesses which is why it was hard to understand why he suddenly felt weak In his lengthy post on Facebook, the senator-elect recalled his experience, "Nahihirapan na ako huminga. Bumibigat ang dibdib ko". Eventually, Robin went to the hospital with Mariel Padilla whom he mentioned watched over him.
