Lolit Solis sa di pagdalo ni Sheryl Cruz sa libing ni Susan Roces: “Issue na naman”

Lolit Solis recently penned a commentary on Sheryl Cruz’s absence when Susan Roces was laid to rest on Thursday at the Manila North Cemetery, next to her late husband Fernando Poe Jr.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Manay Lolit also recalled the time when Sheryl was not seen at the wake of her father Ricky Belmonte back in 2001.

“Issue na naman na hindi nakasama sa libing ni Susan Roces si Sheryl Cruz, Salve. Gaya din ng naging issue nuon na hindi siya nakita sa burol ng ama na si Ricky Belmonte,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

“Hindi natin alam ang dahilan kung bakit nangyayari ito, ang hindi niya pagpapakita sa mga panahon na dapat nanduon siya. Sa kultura kasi ng mga pilipino malaking bagay ito, kaya hindi nila maisip paano nagagawa ni Sheryl Cruz. Si Sheryl lang ang puwede sumagot nito, siya lang ang may alam kung bakit. Pero anuman ang dahilan ibigay niya, tiyak na magkakaruon parin ng issue, dahil hindi mo ma imagine na 2 tao na very close sa kanya ang hindi niya sinamahan sa huling sandali.”

“Hindi malimutan ng lahat na wala siya sa burol ng kanyang ama na si Ricky Belmonte kaya siguro hinanap siya sa libing ni Susan Roces. Dahil parte din ng showbiz si Sheryl Cruz kaya hindi mo maitago ang pagkawala niya sa libing.”

Furthermore, Lolit aired a message to late Susan about the said issue.

“Rest in peace manang Inday, at least alam mo ang dahilan kung bakit wala si Sheryl. Ikaw ang mas makaka alam ng reason, at sana matanggap mo ang valid na dahilan niya. Dasal na lang siguro ang ibibigay ni Sheryl Cruz.”

Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, reacted to Sheryl's eulogy for Susan Roces. Nay Cristy noticed that Sheryl did not mention Sen. Grace Poe in the speech. This prompted Cristy to recall Sheryl’s issue with Grace when the latter was running for the presidency in the 2016 polls.

During the said radio program, Nay Cristy and her co-host Romel Chika also tackled about the time when Sheryl visited Susan’s wake. Cristy told Romel that none of Sheryl’s relatives was talking to her while she was at the wake.
