The series was an adaptation of the movie of the same title which starred the late Fernando Poe, Jr, the real-life husband of Susan.

In his post, Pepe talked about the times Susan would gift him with things that turned out to be funny, adding that it’s so easy to make the veteran actress laugh.

He also reminisced about the time that Susan might have felt bad about his leaving ‘Ang Probinsyano,’ and yet showed the same love when they met in the TV series’ reunion.
