Jake Ejercito, patuloy na titindig: “Anuman ang resulta, ako’y titindig… Para kay Ellie… Para sa bayan”

Jake Ejercito has declared in his latest Instagram post that he will continue to stand up for his daughter and for the country, whatever the results of the elections would be.
He said that nobody foresaw the campaign of VP Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan would reach rockstar status.
The actor also said that nobody expected the massive people’s movement that such campaign generated.
“There was still much uncertainty back in October. Neither rockstar status nor people’s movement in sight,” Jake said.

He admitted that he held back at the outset though he later asked where would he like to be when the dust settles.
“The hold back was quite intense. But I asked myself where I’d wanna be when the dust settles and the answer was and will always be to side with the truth and our country,” the actor further wrote.
“Thanks to VP Leni and Sen Kiko, we’ve come a long way since,” he added.
Jake then expressed pride at being among those who yearn for a better government and did not hesitate in shelling out funds to help in the campaign.

“Karangalan ko ang mapabilang sa hanay ng mga naghahangad at kusang loob na abunado pang lumaban para sa isang gobyernong tapat,” the actor wrote.
He then declared that whatever the results of the elections would be, he would stand up for his daughter, Ellie, and for the country.
“Anuman ang resulta, ako’y titindig at titindig pa rin para kay Ellie, sa katotohanan, at para sa bayan,” Jake wrote, adding the hashtag #AngatBuhayPilipino.
Jake Ejercito is a Pinoy actor who appeared in several movies including Marry Me, Marry You, Mansyon, and Coming Home. He was born on March 27, 1990 to actress Laarni Enriquez and actor-turned-politician, former President Joseph “Erap” Ejercito Estrada. He is the father of Ellie Eigenmann, his daughter with Andi Eigenmann.
Jake was also the subject of Megastar Sharon Cuneta's post on social media recently where she expressed her gratitude to the actor for his support of the Leni-Kiko tandem. Shawie revealed that from the outset, Jake already declared his all-out support to the said tandem. She also highlighted that the support of the actor would mean a lot to the future of the Filipino children, grandchildren, and generations more to come. Jake is the son of former President Erap Estrada and Ms. Laarni Enriquez.
Jake also previously took to Instagram and shared photos of the precious moment when his daughter Ellie Eigenmann met VP Leni Robredo. The father ushered Ellie towards the Vice President and the latter was very happy at meeting the little girl. In the caption, Jake described the moment as "when the one you are fighting for and the one leading the fight meet." He then used the hashtags #OlongapoIsPink and #BataanIsPink.
