Regine Velasquez made an emotional revelation on a recent episode of the ABS-CBN morning talk show “Magandang Buhay.”
KAMI learned that Regine admitted to getting hurt when her friend Jaya left the Philippines and transferred to the US.

According to Regine, she is usually cool with her friends doing what they want to do with their lives.
However, it was different with Jaya because of their closeness and Regine’s possessiveness towards her.

Regine also shared that Jaya can understand her pain because she knows how close they are. Fortunately, Regine and Jaya are okay now and they communicate with each other.
"Nahu-hurt ako kasi feeling ko iniwan ako ng kaibigan ko so hindi ko siya kinausap pero although nag-usap na kami pero hindi ko masabi na nahu-hurt ako kasi iniiwan mo ako, ganun 'yung feeling ko. Kasi parang di ba magkaibigan tayo dapat di ba lagi tayong magkasama? But I know that meron siyang reason why she needed to leave and naiintindihan ko naman 'yun, ayaw ko lang intindihin, alam mo 'yun.
"The thing is I'm not usually like that, I am a very understanding person sige kung saan ka masaya. I don't know why I am like this with her maybe because nga 'yung sa dami na ng pinagdaanan namin and I wanted for her to be here and I am being possessive maybe and maybe I am being selfish but I know she understands naman," Regine shared.
Regine Velasquez is a famous singer, host, and actress in the Philippines. She is dubbed as the Asia’s Songbird because of her outstanding vocal range. She is married to singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid.
Regine has revealed that she, together with her husband, Ogie Alcasid, will be joining the NCR grand rally of VP Leni Robredo on April 23. This is the birthday of VP Leni, and rallies, as well as Kakampink gatherings, were organized by volunteers in different areas of the country.
Earlier, Regine declared her full support for VP Leni, who is running for president. The Asia’s Songbird also expressed her support for Leni’s running mate, Senator Kiko Pangilinan. She wants Leni and Kiko to lead the country because she believes that they will brighten the lives of the Filipino people. Singer-host Ogie Alcasid, Regine’s husband, is also a vocal supporter of the Vice President.
