Sen. Kiko Pangilinan recently shared a photo of a fallen coconut on his Instagram account with a caption that indicates he was amused by the look of the fruit.

In the photo that the senator and vice presidential candidate shared, one can see a coconut lying on the ground.
“Nalaglag yung niyog mula sa puno,” Sen. Kiko wrote in the caption.

The photo also showed one section of the coconut having a pinkish hue, which perhaps the legislator found so amusing, prompting him to jokingly refer to the fruit as “Katropa.”
“Pati pala puno ng niyog ay katropa,” he further wrote.
The color pink, or “kulay rosas” in the Tagalog dialect, is the campaign color of VP Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko in their quest to be the next leaders of the country.
Their group, which includes their senatorial slate and guest candidates, is colloquially referred to as “Tropang Angat,” and individually as “katropa.”
Supporters, on the other hand, are referred to as “Kakampinks.”
Francis Pancratius Nepomuceno Pangilinan, better known as Sen. Kiko, is a Pinoy lawyer and politician currently serving as a Senator of the Republic of the Philippines. He was born on August 24, 1963 and has been very active on social issues since his student days way back in 1985. He married actress and television personality Sharon Cuneta on April 28, 1996. They have two daughters and one adopted son. He is also the stepfather of actress and singer KC Concepcion, Cuneta's daughter whom he legally adopted.
Recently, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan was unable to stop himself from crying when his hands were raised by several farmers in Pampanga. Megastar Sharon Cuneta ushered in the farmers after her speech.
Previously, the legislator took to Twitter and posted a video of his birthday greeting for KC Concepcion. The senator and vice presidential aspirant, affectionately called KC as his "eldest." He also thanked KC for giving him the opportunity to be a father. The entire length of the video that was made by the senator was certainly full of love.
