Rumors about the celebrity couple’s alleged breakup circulated in January, three months after they tied the knot in a lovely church wedding.
Amid the said rumors, Cristy Fermin said she overheard that the Kapuso actress allegedly wanted to file an annulment already.
Nanay Cristy aired about the hearsay in today’s episode of Cristy Ferminute.
“At ngayon nga may napapabalita na namang annulment na si Carla daw ang magsusulong,” the veteran showbiz reported claimed.
“Ito ba ang problemang sinasabi niyong pupwede niyong ayusin, kaya niyong ayusin. Uwi na ito sa annulment, ano 'to?” she added.

Carla Abellana is an actress and endorser who works for GMA. She is now married to fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez. Before entering showbiz, she graduated with honors at De La Salle University with a degree in psychology. She gained prominence for playing the lead role in the Philippine adaptation of the Mexican telenovela "Rosalinda."
Rey “PJ” Abellana, has recently broken his silence on Carla and Tom’s rumored split. During his guesting on Cristy Ferminute, Rey told Cristy Fermin that he was shocked when he learned the circulating rumor. He also revealed that he immediately texted his daughter about the issue. Carla then allegedly opened up to her father, “Tom and I now are not okay”.
Rey also claimed that his son-in-law, Tom, admitted to him about having a one-night stand. Days later, Rey made some clarifications about his statement and stressed that Tom’s one-night stand issue was not true. As per Rey, Tom had already made clear to Carla that there is no truth to his alleged infidelity.
