Janella Salvador addressed the comments and criticisms that were thrown her way when she became a mother.
In the latest vlog of Ogie Diaz where the actress was the guest, she lamented how having a baby in the Philippines, at her age, was like a stigma and that people would say the woman is "sayang."
"Alam mo kasi Tito Ogie, may stigma kapag naging nanay ka dito sa Philippines na ka-age ko, ang daming criticisms na binabato. Meron akong nare-receive na mga comments na, 'Sayang ka. Sayang nanganak ka kaagad.'"

However, Janella does not see it that way, rather, she said that she is not sayang considering that she can still do what she does.
"Doon ako nati-trigger," she pressed. "Kasi, hindi naman ako sayang, eh. I’m still me. I’m still who I am. I’m still Janella Salvador. I can still sing. I can still act. I can still work. Bakit sayang, ‘di ba?"
For Janella, nothing changed in her, except that she has become a mom.

According to her, Markus is a good person with a good heart but still has some immaturities to overcome. The actress shared that she has advised Markus to know his limits when it comes to alcohol. She also admitted that she also has room for growth and character improvement.
Janella Salvador was asked by Ogie Diaz if she and Markus Paterson are already planning to get married. She and Markus have not yet talked about tying the knot because they still have a lot to grow emotionally and financially. Additionally, Janella and Markus are focusing on raising their son Jude the best they can. Nevertheless, the actress clarified that the end goal for her and Markus is to eventually get married.
