According to Janella, she and Markus have not yet talked about tying the knot because they still have a lot to grow emotionally and financially.

“Markus and I siguro are still... siyempre gusto ko pag nagpakasal kayo, sobrang sobrang okay ang lahat. Stable ka, financially, emotionally, lahat.

"Ngayon meron pa kami siyempreng mga... we're still learning new things about each other and how we are as parents. So hindi pa namin iniisip 'yung, 'Pakasal na tayo.' Wala pa,” Janella told Ogie.

Furthermore, Janella and Markus are focusing on raising their son Jude the best they can.

"Siguro ever since I gave birth, lalo na ako, 'yung atensyon ko talaga na kay Jude halos. Pero siyempre nag-uusap pa rin kami. We're under one roof, we're still okay, we're talking. Pero talagang sa parenting kami nagfo-focus," she stated.

However, Janella clarified that the end goal for her and Markus is to eventually get married. She believes that dating is pointless if there is no desire to get married one day.

"Ako kasi I date to marry. So if I'm dating someone, ayaw ko 'yung... parang anong point, magde-date ka tapos you're not trying to see if siya na talaga 'yun?

"If he doesn't think the same way, walang point. Parang feeling ko, we are just wasting our time kapag magde-date ka tapos hindi 'yun 'yung end goal mo,” Janella explained.

Janella Salvador is an actress, endorser and singer in the Philippines. She rose to fame due to her role on the morning teleserye “Be Careful With My Heart.”

Her parents are music artist Juan Miguel Salvador and musical actress Jenine Desiderio. She is also in a romantic relationship with Markus Paterson. Janella and Markus have a baby boy named Jude Trevor Paterson.
