Lolit Solis, 74, could not help but wonder what the local celebrities are up to when they are not doing a taping for a show or a film amid the pandemic.

On Instagram, KAMI learned that the veteran writer penned a lengthy post where she expressed her two cents over the artists being preoccupied if there is no taping.

According to Lolit, she hopes that other celebrities would follow those who have decided to continue their studies or have managed to set up their own businesses.

In her lengthy post, Manay Lolit said that one should not be “totally idle” and should always have “mental exercise” from time to time.

“Ano kaya ngayon ginagawa ng mga stars na walang taping o shooting, Salve? Sana naman tulad ng iba na dahil hindi busy sa career, nag-back to school, iyon naman iba nagbukas ng kahit maliit lang na negosyo like food business. Dapat huwag totally idle o walang ginagawa dahil iyon utak mo pag hindi pinaandar magiging stagnant at hihina ang comprehension. Dapat laging may mental exercise para maging productive.”

Aside from this, Lolit expressed her happiness upon seeing other artists go back to school since it will be a good “fallback” for others.

“Maganda iyon ginawa ng ilan na talagang nagbalik schooling, maganda fallback ito kung sakali at tuloy tuloy ang pandemic sa showbiz. Iyon iba naman na nag-start ng business balita ko successful naman at talagang ngayon in demand ba ang mga pagkain ginagawa nila. Basta dapat lang meron silang ginagawa, dahil mukhang matagal pa ang recovery sa showbiz. Dahan dahan pa ang galaw.”
