Aiko Melendez was not able to hold back her tears while delivering her heartfelt speech dedicated to her co-stars and the whole crew of the show, Prima Donnas.
It is known that Aiko plays a big role as "Kendra" in the show. However, she needs to leave the program to pursue public service as a candidate for public office.
In her speech, she thanked everyone who is part of their hit series, especially their director, who is Gina Alajar.
Aiko further clarified that, despite the fact that she has left the program, viewers can still expect to see her in the second season.

Aiko Melendez is a well-known showbiz personality. She received the Best Supporting Actress award in 2018 for her role in the film "Rainbow's Sunset." Aiko ran for and won a seat on the Quezon City Council in 2001. She served for 9 years, until 2010.

Aiko previously shared a meme about Filipinos "unfriending" each other over political disputes. She stated that fighting with her friends and loved ones over politicians is not worth it for her. The veteran actress believes that people with diverse political beliefs should be respected. Ultimately, she prayed to God for the country's healing and for love to prevail among its people.
