Lolit Solis just penned a hilarious birthday greeting for her good friend, Joey de Leon, whom she called her “ka-love team.”
On Friday, October 15, KAMI learned that the veteran columnist shared how she and Joey often joked about being a “love team” back in the day.
Previously, Joey made headlines when he celebrated his 75th birthday with a simple celebration at his home.

In his Instagram account, @angpoetnyo, the Filipino comedian-host, wrote, “My second straight year birthday… IN THE HOUSE!”

Following this news, Lolit did not forget to greet Joey on his special day, where she went for a walk down memory lane.
“Birthday ng ka-love team ko na si Joey de Leon, Salve. Joke namin na love team kami dahil classmates kami sa Moises Salvador Elementary School noon mga bata pa kami. Hindi mo aakalain na sa showbiz pala kami magtatagpo uli. Naging classmate ko naman sa Mapa High School sila Nova Villa at Lito Calzado. Kaya nga talaga siguro kahit ano ang journey niyo, kahit saan kayo mapunta, meron kang connection na matatagpuan.”
According to the veteran columnist, Joey is among the celebrities who are fun to work with in the showbiz industry.
“Alam mo ba na isa sa pinakamasarap ka trabaho si Joey de Leon. Magaan at very professional. Hindi mo makikitang ma-high blood, at talagang very commanding ang presence. Idol siya ng mga writers dahil sa sharpness ng wit at wisdom niya. Feel na feel mo kung paano siya igalang ng mga tao na nakasama niya sa trabaho.
