At the beginning of her post, Iza pointed out the connection between the country’s Independence Day celebration and her mother’s birthday, describing June 12 as an important occasion for both the nation and their family.

Happy Birthday, Mommy!”
After recalling the special date, Iza opened up about the sadness of having only a limited number of photographs with her mother. She also expressed the longing she still feels, wishing she had more time with Mary Ann and that her mother had the opportunity to meet her daughter, Deia Amihan.
Iza then reflected on the realities of life and encouraged her followers to treasure every moment with their parents while they still can. The actress urged people to express their love, create memories, and appreciate the simple yet meaningful experiences shared with family.
Toward the end of her message, Iza broadened her reflection beyond family, calling on fellow Filipinos to also embrace and care for their country. Drawing a parallel between honoring one’s mother and loving the nation, she encouraged people to continue standing up for the Philippines.
Happy Birthday, Mary Ann! Happy Independence Day, Pilipinas! Mabuhay!”
Through her touching message, the actress not only honored her late mother’s memory but also reminded her followers of the importance of cherishing loved ones and making the most of the time they have together.
