Iza Calzado recently took to Instagram to share a beautiful tribute to one of her closest friends in the industry, Jodi Sta. Maria. In a post filled with throwback photos and current moments with Iza’s daughter, Deia, the actress reflected on why their friendship has remained so strong despite the pressures of show business.

Iza shared that while she has always been a fan of Jodi’s talent, getting to know her personally made her admire the actress even more for her "heart, mind, and grace" which she has seen through the years.
"I still remember one of our first filming days for Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin. We talked about how some friendships in this industry get ruined by competition or jealousy, and we promised each other, 'Hindi mangyayari sa atin ‘yan ha.' And true enough, it never did," Iza revealed in her post.
For Iza, watching Jodi "evolve and shine" is a gift, especially as they both navigate their busy schedules and motherhood. She also made sure to give a special shoutout to Jodi’s latest project, Midnight Girls, in her post.
