Actress and television personality Jolina Magdangal and her husband, Mark Escueta, were guests at the wedding of actors Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon.

In her Instagram post about the event, Jolina described Carlo as “mapagmahal sa family.” Jolina’s description of Carlo drew criticisms from netizens, citing Carlo’s falling out with his former partner Trina Candaza, who he has a child with named Mithi.

However, one netizen shared a different perspective on the matter, saying that Trina and her daughter Mithi would have suffered more if Carlo did not leave due to the unhappiness of their relationship. The netizen added that Mithi would have grown up seeing her parents constantly fighting. Lastly, the netizen asked the public not to put all the blame on Carlo for his breakup with Trina.

Jolina then expressed her appreciation for that comment defending Carlo, thanking the netizen for being understanding.

Carlo Aquino is one of the most famous actors in the Philippines. He has a child named Enola Mithi with his ex-girlfriend Trina Candaza, a model and vlogger who became popular after her relationship with the actor. He is now married to actor Charlie Dizon.
