The actress and husband Mikee Morada lost their first child, two months after they found out she was pregnant

Several days ago, Alex broke the news on Instagram that she has suffered a miscarriage.

In a lengthy post, the actress said that weeks after they found out she was pregnant, her doctor told her she might have an anembryonic pregnancy.

This is a condition where an embryo cannot develop, or if it did during the first month or so, it ceases to develop at a certain point.

In one of her latest posts on Instagram, the actress is seen hugging Mikee, with the couple trying to smile.

“This was 2 days after we found out our pregnancy didn't develop.. still sad but we tried to smile,” Alex’s caption read.

While the situation must be very painful, the actress has been trying to get on with her life and to accept what has happened.
