Filipino comedian Bentong made a lot of people in the showbiz industry sad after it was announced that he already passed away at the age of 55.
KAMI learned that the actor died on February 9 after reportedly suffering from a cardiac arrest inside the Fairview General Hospital where he was confined for having difficulty breathing.
Bentong’s son-in-law Arvin Vincent Anierdes made the sad announcement through a Facebook post where he also showed gratitude to the comedian for taking care of their family.
"Maraming maraming salamat Papa sa pag-aaruga sa Pamilya naten. Maraming salamat din dahil napakarami mo napasayang tao. Mahal na mahal ka namin Pa," he wrote.
Meanwhile, a video of Bentong is now circulating online and it was reportedly the last video of the comedian before he passed away.
The sidekick of Willie Revillame was delivering a birthday message and he was also throwing some jokes as seen and heard in the trending footage.
