Sandra Lemonon may have failed to take home a crown from the Binibining Pilipinas competition, but she's earned the admiration of many pageant fans and viewers for her honest answer.
Lemonon, who got in the top 15, became the subject of memes and online debate for her response to being asked for her insights on the government's "Build, Build, Build" program.
The Binibining Pilipinas contestant who had no idea about the topic honestly answered the question.
Actually, you know what, I studied so much for this Q&A, but sadly that's something that I don't know really much about. But at least I'm here trying to answer a good question. Thank you."
The following day, Vica Ganda and Anne Curtis had talked about it during Miss Q&A segment of It's Showtime.

According to Vice Ganda she admired Ms. Lemonon for giving an honest answer. He also said he would have been in the same situation if he will be asked about the topic.
"Gusto ko nga 'yun, iyong sinabi niyang hindi niya alam 'yung sagot," Vice Ganda said.
Anne replied, "Kaysa naman mang-echos ka pa on stage, di ba?"
In an interview with ABS- CBN, the contestant said he did not regret giving the answer and is thankful for the warm messages she received because of her honesty.
Sandra Lemonon also said she misheard the question. She heard Bill, bill, bills instead of build, build, build.

Binibining Pilipinas is a national beauty pageant in the Philippines that selects Filipina representatives to compete in two of the Big Four major international beauty pageants such as Miss Universe and Miss International.
The pageant also fields four queens to other minor international pageants such as Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Grand International and Miss Globe.
The national director of the Philippines is Stella Araneta, former Miss Colombia and Miss International titleholder, and Cochitina Sevilla, an entrepreneur as co-chairwoman.
