The unsolicited advice of the showbiz columnist came amid the declaration of Sen. Pacquiao that he would be running for President in next year’s elections.
Like any supportive wife, Jinkee posted on her own IG her reaction and support to the announcement of her husband.
Such did not escape the watchful eyes of Nay Cristy.
“Yung pahayag naman ni Ms. Jinkee Pacquiao sa kanyang IG post na sinabi niyang may basbas ng Panginoon ang pagtakbo ni Sen. Manny Pacquiao sa panguluhan, katulad rin daw noong walong sinturon sa iba’t ibang dibisyon na siya ay pinagpala ng Diyos kaya niya nakuha,” the showbiz reporter said.
Nay Cristy, however, said that if Jinkee wanted to reach out to the masses, it should be her and not her admins who must write the posts.
“Siguro ito na ‘yung panahon na dapat talaga, si Jinkee na ‘yung nakikipag-usap sa ating kababayan, hindi na ‘yung admin,” she said.
The showbiz reporter also said that Jinkee should learn to shop at Divisoria.
Nay Cristy also suggested that Jinkee should set aside and hide in a closet all the branded possessions she has if she dreams of becoming a First Lady, adding that people might not come near her if she wears flashy clothes.
Jinkee Pacquiao, the wife of Pinoy boxing legend and legislator, Sen. Manny Pacquiao, is a former Pinay politician, occasional film producer, media personality, and socialite from Mindanao. She was born on January 12, 1979 to Nestor Jamora and Rosalina Capeña in General Santos City. Jinkee has a twin sister named Janet. As a film producer, she produced documentaries for her husband and other box-office titles. The wife of Sen. Pacquiao once served as Sarangani province’s vice-governor from 2013 to 2016. She served only for one term for the reason that she wanted to focus on taking care of her family, as well as her business.
Nay Cristy, in a reaction to the lengthy post of Jinkee regarding the candidacy of her husband, Sen. Manny, said that her touching post written in English was not made by her but was written by an admin. The talk show host furthermore clarified that she was not criticizing Jinkee’s fluency in English.
The showbiz reporter and talk show host also said that Jinkee should start displaying a modest life following the said announcement. Even though she is using her husband’s hard-earned money to buy luxury items, Nanay Cristy said that Jinkee still needs to display a lifestyle relatable to the masses.
