Cristy Fermin has taken to her program, Cristy Ferminute, Jinkee Pacquiao’s viral post about Sen. Manny Pacquiao’s presidential candidacy.

It can be recalled that a day after the senator announced his bid for the presidency in 2022 national elections, Jinkee shared a lengthy post expressing her full support to her husband.

In her program’s latest episode, Nanay Cristy reacted, “'Yung pahayag naman ni Ms. Jinkee Pacquaio sa kanyang IG post na sinabi niya na may basbas ng Panginoon ang pagtakbo ni Senator Manny Pacquiao sa panguluhan, katulad din daw no'ng walong sinturon sa iba't ibang dibisyon na siya ay pinagpala ng Diyos kaya niya nakuha.”

However, the talk show host believes that Jinkee’s touching post was written by an admin.

“Kaya lang, hindi 'yon ang pinagtatalunan ngayon. Ang dami-dami kong kaibigan na kausap kanina, 'Naku, mas maganda kung mismong si Jinkee ang magpo-post, mas may puso'. Admin na naman ang itinuturo. Kasi, ang kanya pong pahayag ay Ingles mula umpisa hanggang kadulu-duluhan.”

Nanay Cristy went on to clarify that she was not criticizing Jinkee’s fluency in English.

“Hindi naman po sa minamaliit natin si Jinkee Pacquiao, pero nadidinig naman din natin siyang magsalita. Alam din naman po natin ang kanyang istilo ng pag-i-Ingles. Hindi po natin siya minamaliit dahil hindi po siya gaanong mag-Ingles dahil Pilipino naman po siya. May karapatan naman po tayong mas mahalin ang ating lengguwahe kaysa sa salitang bayaga.”

“Kaya lang, siguro ito na 'yung panahon na dapat talaga, si Jinkee na 'yung nakikipag-usap sa ating kababayan, hindi na 'yung admin,” she added.

Jinkee Pacquiao is the wife of Filipino boxer and politician Sen. Manny Pacquiao. Jinkee and the boxing legend have five children – Emmanuel Jr. (Jimuel), Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace (Princess), Queen Elizabeth (Queenie), and Israel. They now own a lot of properties in different parts of the Philippines. Jinkee is also known for having impeccable taste when it comes to fashion.

Jinkee recently penned a lengthy social media post where she expressed her full support to Sen. Manny Pacquiao following his presidential bid announcement. In her post, Jinkee said it has not been an easy decision for her husband “but his heart and love for our country calls him to”.

Cristy Fermin also aired some pieces of advice to Jinkee and Sen. Manny. Nanay Cristy stressed that Jinkee should start displaying a modest life following the said announcement.
