Danica Sotto-Pingris recently shared some tips for her Instagram followers on how to efficiently handle the challenges brought about by the pandemic.

The celebrity mom, TV host, and wife of former PBA player Marc Pingris said that her greatest weapon amid these trying times is prayer.

She said she would sometimes seek solace in her bedroom or make her bathroom a sanctuary where she would pray.

“I pause. I go to my bedroom sometimes sa bathroom at doon ako humihinga at nagdadasal,” Danica said in her post.

She also said she would document and go back to verses she highlighted in the Bible in the past.

“I journal and I go back to the verses that I’ve highlighted sa Bible because I know God’s word will always encourage and give me strength,” Danica further said.

She also revealed that she would often open up to Marc if she feels burdened by what’s happening around her.

“Masarap yung feeling na may nasasabihan ka. He comforts me but, at the same time, he also corrects me. Pag may mali din ako, he makes sure na alam ko at kahit masakit pa, he will speak the truth,” the celebrity mom revealed.

The TV host also said that she talks to a relative or friend who can give her good advice.

“I also talk to a close friend or relative. Yung alam ko she/he will give me good advice. Kahit a short convo lang on the phone,” Danica said.

She then bared that she also miss having coffee dates.

“I miss having coffee dates, too. It really helps when you know that there’s someone who will be there to listen to you,” she disclosed in her post.

The celebrity mom ended her post with a question to her followers.

“How bout you? Anong ginagawa nyo when you feel ang daming challenges,” Danica asked.

Danica Sotto-Pingris is the daughter of popular actor-comedian and TV host, Vic Sotto, with veteran actress Dina Bonnevie. She was born on May 9, 1983 in Manila. She has two brothers, Oyo Boy Sotto, who is married to multi-awarded actress Kristine Hermosa, and Vico Sotto, the mayor of Pasig City. Danica tied the knot with popular basketball player, Marc Pingris, in 2007. They have two children, Jean Michael Pingris and Anielle Micaela Pingris.

Danica is also very close to her baby half-sister, Tali Sotto. On her Instagram Stories, Danica posted a video of baby Tali brilliantly reading a children’s book out loud. According to Danica, the three-year-old girl was able to read three board books in less than 10 minutes. Netizens then aired how they got impressed because of Tali’s intelligence.

Recently, she also admitted crying upon reading the post of Pauleen Luna for the former’s father, Vic Sotto. Pauleen Luna is the wife of Vic, while Danica is the daughter of Vic with Dina Bonnevie. Danica wrote a question in the comment section on why she is crying. In her post, Pauleen expressed how much she loves her husband Vic.
