Sharon Cuneta just shared a rather amusing exchange between a couple of netizens regarding the actress which was shared by film director, Darryl Yap. Darryl is the director of Shawie's upcoming film, "Revirginized".
The director and cast of the film have been sharing teaser photos of the film which of course included shots of the actress looking gorgeous and youthful.
One fan commented that the actress has turned "from Shawie to shawty". Shawie is the actress's nickname while shawty is a slang word that means something complimentary.

A netizen also decided to post the meaning of the slang word. In her post she explained that shawty stands for "A fine female. A pop-culture slang term that refers to an attractive female".
Sharon could not help but be amused that she earned another moniker aside from her title as the Philippine's Megastar. She also gave a shout-out to director Darryl.
"May bago na naman palang tawag sakin! Hahahaha Direeeek [sic]!!!"
