- Jake Ejercito revealed there are several Kapamilya actors that he looks up to

- He said that he grew up abroad watching Star Cinema movies so it’s no wonder he got to idolize many of them

- The actor also said that ABS-CBN has a different roster of talents that are really good in acting

- Jake revealed all these, including the actresses he was linked to, in an interview in relation to his upcoming TV series “Marry Me, Marry You”

Jake Ejercito recently revealed in an interview that there are several Kapamilya actors he looked up to, as well as some of the actresses he was linked to in the past.

He said that while he grew up abroad, his fondness for Filipino movies did not wane. The actor said he grew up watching Star Cinema films like "One More Chance," "Milan," and "Sa ‘Yo Lamang."

When asked who among the Kapamilya actors he idolize, Jake said there are lots.

“There’s a lot to mention kasi pag sinabi mong ABS-CBN iba yung roster of talents. Growing up andiyan sila John Lloyd Cruz, Jericho Rosales, Piolo Pascual, Coco Martin, they are the ones that I look up to,” the actor said.

The actor also revealed he has been linked to a number of actresses, including Maine Mendoza and Bea Alonzo.

However, he dismissed these talks as mere rumors. “Yung kay Bea actually, I just attended her birthday party as a plus one lang actually and dun ko lang na-meet si Bea. Ako kasi super fan ako ng One More Chance. Bea-John Lloyd (Cruz) super fan talaga ako. So when I met Bea parang na-capture ata siya and I posted it on my Instagram pero yun lang po yun. Nothing else,” Jake said.

As regards his family series “Marry Me, Marry You,” Jake said he’ll be playing Cedric, the childhood friend of Paulo Avelino, who later will become his rival in trying to capture the heart of Janine Gutierrez.

Jake Ejercito is the son of former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada with actress Laarni Enriquez. He was born on March 27, 1990. Jake is the father of Adrianna Gabrielle Eigenmann Ejercito, better known as Ellie Ejercito, with Andi Eigenmann. He has starred in several movies like Coming Home, Mansyon, and Pamilya.

This week, Jake disclosed the reason why he did not immediately join showbiz. He said that he prioritized his daughter, which was why it took a bit of time before finally deciding on becoming a celeb. He said that back then, he was not very sure what to do with his life, being a young dad and all. He then revealed that when he was growing up, he was exposed to two different worlds, one was the world of politics and the other the world of showbiz.

He also recently flaunted the bonding time he had with daughter Ellie Eigenmann. He uploaded a video and photo where Ellie seemed to be getting a hair makeover. In his online post, Ellie seemed to be having her hair colored by professionals as well. Moreover, Jake posted an adorable selfie of Ellie during the said hair makeover.
