According to Gerald, his relationship with Julia brings him a different kind of joy, inspiration and motivation. He speculated that this deeper kind of relationship might be related to his maturity at the age of 32.
“Ibang joy, ibang inspiration, hindi ko rin ma-explain eh.
“Parang nabibigyan ako ng bagong motivation. Hindi ko rin alam kung kasama rin sa edad ko, 32 na ako, so iba na,” he said.

He added that he is grateful for Julia’s unconditional love and support for him. The actor shared that he feels like he can always count on Julia to be by his side to support and empower him amidst the storms of life.
“Unconditional. Talagang, parang alam ko na sa tropa ko sa sundalo, alam kong andyan siya by my side. Siya yung nagbibigay sa akin ng power para ituloy ang laban sa buhay,” Gerald told Toni.
